About San Marcos

The small lakeside village of San Marcos la laguna was first visited by off-the-path travelers and nomads back in the 90's, and has slowly become a destination sought out by spiritual travelers, meditators, yogis and ritualists. It's now a vibrant town welcoming visitors from all over the world that also has a lively expat community. Come and enjoy the power and community of this ancient energy vortex, and gift yourself the opportunity to experience some of Guatemala while staying in the vibration of the level 1 spiritual sexual shamanic experience.

Tribe Time Accommodations

We will be renting a lovely lakeside villa in San Marcos (with sauna, large & comfortable lounge, great kitchen and tropical garden with hot tub) from the 2nd until the 5th of February. ISTA has a long history of renting this beautiful property after our trainings, and it always supports participants to ground and integrate together in this beautiful and luxurious space. Casa Piece of Heaven is situated very centrally in San Marcos, at just a minute's walk from most restaurants and cafes, and offers a comfortable and peaceful space right by the lake.

    Casa Peace of Heaven


    Casa Peace of Heaven is a lakeside villa with three shared twin rooms with double beds and ensuite bathroom, and a spacious King Dragon suite that accommodates two people. The suite has its own private hot bath. Apart from that there is a spacious quad room with fireplace and its own kitchen.  The villa is situated just a 1-minute walk from all restaurants and has a wood-fired sauna (temazcal), big outside hot tub and beautiful tropical garden by the lake. There's a big cushiony shared lounge area with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen.

    ISTA Family Brunch at Cafe Nectar

    Saturday 3rd February at 10:30am


    Join the tribe for a gourmet brunch, and stay in the afterglow of the training while indulging in local specialties at ISTA graduate-owned Cafe Nectar. We will be impeccably catered to with a selection of home-baked breads and pastries, specialty meats and cheeses, fresh fruits and granola and a full Guatemalan breakfast buffet. All of this accompanied by local coffee and Cacao, fresh juices and mimosas.         Cash or card payment on the spot.



    AcroTantra Festival

    February 5-10, Tzununa


    Enter the Acrotantra Fest portal at Gaïa Dance Temple, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala for a 6-day celebration.


    During these six days of celebration, we will offer different levels of Acroyoga and Tantra every day, so that everyone finds their sweet learning spot. We will have some of the best acroyoga teachers out there and will be blessed by the presence of our favorite Tantra teachers. Our days will be filled with movement, new learnings and pleasure explorations. Our nights will be guided by the music with ecstatic dances, cacao ceremony, breathwork journeys, sacred rituals and magical surprises.
